Ragas: Pricing, Features & Alternatives
Ragas is the standard toolkit for measuring retrieval-augmented generation. It scores whether answers are grounded in the retrieved context (faithfulness), whether retrieval found the right passages (context precision and recall) and whether the answer addresses the question, using LLM-based and traditional metrics. It can also generate synthetic test sets from your own documents, so you do not have to hand-write questions. It is Apache-2.0 licensed with about 16K GitHub stars, integrates with LangChain, LlamaIndex and observability tools, and is free. Agent-specific evals are listed as coming soon.
