Lock sensitive Mac folders in a local AES-256 vault
Folder Lock Vault is a focused macOS utility for protecting selected folders inside local AES-256 encrypted sparsebundle vaults. It is designed for client files, finance folders, project deliveries, personal archives, and other local material that should remain locked between work sessions. Choose a source folder and vault location, set a passphrase, and the app copies the contents into the encrypted vault. It verifies that the encrypted copy succeeds before moving the original folder to Trash, preserving a recovery path until the Trash is emptied. Unlocking mounts the vault so it appears in Finder like a normal folder; relocking unmounts it. Everything remains local, with no account, cloud upload, or recurring subscription. The Mac App Store price is HK$38 as a one-time purchase. The passphrase cannot be recovered, so it must be stored safely. Anyone evaluating the workflow should use only a newly created disposable sample folder—never the sole copy of important files—and report the macOS version, Mac type, vault location, exact reproduction steps, and any warning that was unclear. Free TestFlight access has been prepared but must not be described as joinable until Apple approves the current beta build.
HK$38 one-time purchase; no subscription, account, or cloud service.
