Autoadify vs Buffer: Which is Better in 2026?
Buffer and Autoadify both put your posts on a calendar and publish them to Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and the rest, but they are priced and built around different ideas. Buffer is a scheduler you pay for per connected channel: you write the post, Buffer queues and publishes it. Autoadify charges a flat price per workspace and is built around three AI products: an AI Agent that works across 20 tools, an AI Studio of 70+ text, image, video and audio models, and AI Workflows that create and publish posts on their own when a schedule fires or a new Shopify or WooCommerce product appears.
We checked both pricing pages on October 3, 2026. The headline prices ("from $6" against "from $29") are misleading on their own, because Buffer multiplies by channel. So we priced the same setups on both and listed where each one is the better fit.
Quick verdict
Once you manage more than a handful of channels, Autoadify costs less: 10 social accounts are $29 a month on its Pro plan against $60 on Buffer Essentials or $120 on Buffer Team, and the Autoadify plan also includes AI Workflows, the full AI Agent and AI Studio. Buffer is the better fit for one or two channels, where it costs $6 to $12 a month, for teams that write their own posts and just want a fast, proven queue, and for anyone who wants unlimited team members or a free plan with three channels. Autoadify’s $29 is a launch promotion on a $39 list price, and its AI features run on monthly credits, so check how much content you expect to generate.

Autoadify vs Buffer: The Details That Matter
01How each one bills you
Buffer prices every connected channel separately. Free covers up to 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts each. Essentials is $6 per channel per month billed monthly, or $5 billed yearly, with unlimited scheduled posts for one user. Team is $12 per channel per month, or $10 billed yearly, and adds unlimited team members, access levels and approval workflows. Buffer says extra channels beyond 10 get a volume discount.
Autoadify charges per workspace, so adding a channel does not change the bill until you hit the plan’s account limit. Free has 2 accounts, 30 posts a month and 25 one-time credits. Pro is $29 a month (a 25% promotion on the $39 list price) with 10 accounts, unlimited posts, 5 AI workflows and 750 credits. Team is $79 with 50 accounts, 20 workflows and 2,000 credits, and Enterprise is $299 with 100 accounts and 50 workflows. Credits pay for AI image, video and audio generation.
| Channels | Autoadify | Buffer Essentials | Buffer Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Free (up to 2 accounts) | $6 | $12 |
| 3 | $29 Pro | $18 (or Free, 10 posts each) | $36 |
| 10 | $29 Pro | $60 | $120 |
| 10, yearly billing | $29 Pro (billed monthly) | $50 | $100 |
Sources: buffer.com/pricing and autoadify.com/pricing, checked October 3, 2026. Autoadify Pro is $29 during a promotion; the list price is $39. Buffer offers volume discounts above 10 channels.
In short
Buffer is cheaper for one to three channels. From about five channels up, Autoadify’s flat price comes in lower, and at 10 channels it is about half of Buffer Essentials.
02What the AI actually does
Buffer includes an AI Assistant on every plan, including Free. It helps you write and rephrase captions inside the composer, and you still create and schedule each post yourself.
Autoadify goes further, with three AI products. Its AI Agent takes one instruction and works across 20 tools to plan and draft a week of posts. AI Studio gives you 70+ named models for text, image, video and audio, with no API keys to manage. AI Workflows run without you: pick a trigger (a schedule, or a new Shopify or WooCommerce product), and the workflow writes the caption, creates the image, adds hashtags and queues the post. You can build one by describing it in chat or with a drag-and-drop step builder. Posts still wait for your approval before they publish.

In short
If you want software to create the posts, not just publish them, Autoadify covers much more. Buffer’s AI is a writing helper inside a scheduler.
03Teams, approvals and the rest of the toolkit
Buffer Team gives unlimited team members, access levels and content approval workflows, and every plan includes a community inbox, analytics and API access (1 key on Free, 3 on Essentials, 5 on Team). Buffer has been running since 2010, so integrations, browser extensions and help content are mature.
Autoadify caps seats by tier rather than charging per head: 1 on Free, 3 on Pro, 10 on Team and unlimited on Enterprise. It includes a calendar, approvals and a shared inbox for comments and DMs. It is a much younger product, so expect fewer third-party integrations.
In short
Large teams that only need scheduling get more seats for the money on Buffer Team. Small teams that want AI-made content get more on Autoadify.
