# Runpod: Pricing, Features & Alternatives

Runpod rents GPUs two ways. Pods are GPU machines you SSH or Jupyter into and pay for by the hour. Serverless endpoints scale workers to zero and bill per second of inference. It offers two tiers of supply. Secure Cloud runs in vetted data centres. Community Cloud runs on vetted third-party hosts at lower prices. On-demand rates as of September 2026: an H100 PCIe is $1.99/hour on Community and $2.89 on Secure, an A100 80GB from $1.19, an RTX 4090 from $0.34, and a B200 from $5.98\. Network storage is $0.07/GB-month.
