## About

Weesper Transcribe is a focused Mac app for creators, podcasters, researchers and editors who need to turn existing audio and video files into useful text. Transcription runs on-device, so media is not uploaded to a cloud service. Users can edit and search transcripts, keep a searchable history, and export TXT, Markdown, SRT, VTT or PDF. The app also includes an opt-in local automation API for hands-off file transcription workflows.
