## About

Markstream is an open-source streaming Markdown renderer built for AI chat interfaces. It renders incomplete Markdown progressively while tokens arrive, avoiding the flicker and broken formatting common in ordinary Markdown renderers. The project supports Vue and Nuxt, React and Next.js, Svelte, Angular, and Vue 2, with Mermaid diagrams, KaTeX math, syntax highlighting, safe HTML, custom components, and SSR support. It is designed for developers building assistants, copilots, documentation chat, and other real-time LLM experiences.
