## About

Excel to Markdown is a browser-local conversion workbench for developers, technical writers, analysts, and anyone moving spreadsheet data into READMEs or documentation. It accepts XLSX, legacy XLS, and CSV files, lets users select one or several worksheets, choose whether the first row is a header, adjust column alignment, and copy or download clean Markdown. Public conversion requires no account. Workbook content is parsed in the browser and is not uploaded to the converter's server. The site also includes Markdown-to-Excel, CSV-to-Markdown, HTML-table-to-Markdown, and a visual Markdown table generator. I built and operate Excel to Markdown.
